Changing the narrative on Recovered Memories, one showing at a time.

While the production phase is over, Paper Birds is still currently in the process of being edited. The film is set to be finished by early 2025 and is projected to be about 30 minutes long. Upon its completion, Paper Birds will be circled through film festivals before being disseminated to trauma and mental health professionals, and then ultimately released to the general public for viewing.

APRIL 14th, 2023

On April 14th of 2023, A.C. Brooke flew out to the University of Wisconsin Eau-Claire to present the first fifteen minutes of Paper Birds at the National Conference of Undergraduate Research (NCUR), the largest annual conference for undergraduate research in the United States.

October 27th, 2023

On October 27th of 2023, A.C. Brooke served as the Plenary Speaker at Tulsa Community College’s (TCC) annual undergraduate research retreat. Following a screening of the film, she participated in an interview about her experience as a undergrad researcher.

CREOKS CEU

October 25th, 2024

On October 25th of 2024, A.C. Brooke co-presented a three-hour CEU with neurobiologist, Mona Easterling, and EMDR therapist, Alyssa Pratt, on healing memory fragmentation and the brain-body reconnect. The presentation was inspired by the film and included several clips.
