Bird Bites: A Candid Exhibition of Transference with Childhood Trauma 

The *real* video starts around the 2:35 minute mark. I know this is choppy and awkward, but it also felt like a really important moment to share just because it perfectly captures some of the conversations I’ve had in therapy over the past few years regarding my relationship with my nieces and the role that’s played in all of this. Also this thought process of “It couldn’t have happened to me—it must be someone else I love and now I have to protect them” is on full display here and that’s a concept I’ve seen other people reference but never really depicted, or at least not much. But anyways, hope it’s an insightful listen!
